Riyadh International Catering Company (RICC), the owner of the McDonald’s franchise in the Central, Eastern, and Northern regions of KSA, is proud to announce the graduation of the third and fourth batches from Tomooh Program, consisting of 4 Saudi managers, bringing the number of Saudi managers to have graduated from this program to 13 in total, all of which are currently on top of their duties as restaurant managers.

McDonald’s first launched Tomooh Program in 2017, to train and qualify fresh university graduates or those about to graduate, to become branch managers through an intensive 18-month long training program, comprising of English language courses and the basics of restaurant shift management along with advanced shift management which focuses on managing the restaurant, which includes interacting with employees, food safety, security and safety, developing and training employees, along with inventory management. Adding to all that, the Tomooh Graduates gain valuable competence when it comes to communication skills, basics of work ethic, customer service, the ability to work under pressure, security awareness, and negotiation skills among many others.

It is also worth mentioning that His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Mr. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, was invited to attend the graduation ceremony of the first and second batches of the program that took place last year, in the presence of the Company's President HH Prince Mishaal bin Khalid Al Saud. During the ceremony, His Excellency the Minister thanked McDonald’s for their crucial Saudization initiatives, and drew attention to the Ministry’s aim to develop the abilities of the Saudi youth, by sponsoring initiatives, contributions and programs that contribute to supporting the Saudi youth to qualify them to join the professional world with all the necessary skills and expertise they may need, in line with Saudi Arabia’s 2030 vision.
