On March 1st, McDonald's Saudi Arabia successfully raised SAR 106,851 through its branches in the central, eastern, and northern regions to support the Down Syndrome Capacity Building Program. The 10th campaign involved allocating sales of the "McRoyal" burger in partnership with the Down Syndrome Charitable Association "DSCA".

The campaign received a strong response and appreciation after launching the hashtag "Buy a meal and bring joy" on social media, highlighting the importance of awareness initiatives aimed to improve the quality of life for individuals with Down Syndrome. DSCA praised the effective impact of McDonald's Capacity Building Program of Individuals with Down Syndrome and shared the success story of one of the beneficiaries which received over 13,000 interactions.

It is worth noting that SAR 106,851 was collected from McRoyal sales on this day, and a check was handed over to Ms. Nouf, the resource development coordinator of DSCA, by Lina Khan, McDonald's Corporate Communications and Social Responsibility Manager, at the company's headquarters in Riyadh. Ms. Nouf commended McDonald's continuous efforts to improve the quality of life for individuals with Down Syndrome, stating that "with the completion of the 10th campaign for the program, more than 2,200 beneficiaries have completed the courses, and the continuity of McDonald's support will spread the required awareness of supporting individuals with Down Syndrome in a way that motivates others to care for and interact with them in a proper manner."

This campaign is the 10th since its launch in 2017 to support McDonald's Down Syndrome capacity building program, and the total donations allocated from the sale of McDonald's products during the past six years have exceeded SAR 760,000. The program aims, in partnership with the DSCA, to build and improve the capacities of families who have children with Down Syndrome, associations, and entities working with individuals with Down Syndrome through conducting training workshops by specialized trainers from DSCA to develop their skills for their benefit.
