As a corporation which has taken a leading role in the job nationalization process in Saudi Arabia, and as part of its constant pursuit to support and empower the Saudi youth, McDonald’s KSA is proud to have employed over 1,000 Saudi women and men during the year 2022. The total number of Saudi employees has therefore increased to more than 4,112 members, representing 35% of the total workforce in the company.

In 2022, McDonald's KSA participated in more than 21 job and career fairs across the country as part of its ongoing efforts to better enable Saudi youth. This is in addition to its substantial engagement in the national campaign to localize the workforce, an operation sponsored by Human Resources Development Fund. As a result, McDonald’s KSA was able to hire hundreds of young nationals from our beloved nation.

Since its establishment, McDonald’s KSA took great interest in developing the skills of young Saudi men and women. It has successfully hired, trained, qualified, and prepared thousands of them to take on future leadership roles, achieving great success not only at McDonald's but also in the larger Saudi labor market.

In line with the aspiring transformational Vision 2030, McDonald's KSA places utmost emphasis and importance on every woman's effective role in society. It has therefore successfully increased the number of female employees to 544 in a variety of jobs in restaurants or in upper management.

McDonald’s KSA works constantly on advancing its Saudi employees, propelling them to excel in leadership and operation management skills. Our employees work in a variety of fields, including general management and positions within the restaurants such as branch management, service crews, or in McCafe as baristas, hospitality supervisors, and internal restaurant marketers.
