November 2022

Recently, McDonald's KSA ran its ninth campaign in cooperation with DSCA Charitable Association to benefit the Capacities Building Program for people with Down syndrome.

The program aims to empower mothers, families, specialists, and anyone else who works with people who have Down syndrome. Its goal is to equip them with the most up-to-date methods and information for improving their children’s pronunciation and language skills, as well as raise awareness about the importance of making eye contact. This involved holding workshops and individual sessions with mothers to discuss these topics so they can deal with their children with greater efficacy and improve their quality of life, and the wellbeing of the whole family.

McDonald's KSA contributed financially to the initiative by allocating the proceeds of the McRoyale Burger sales on November 1st to this campaign.

It is worth noting that these efforts have been ongoing for more than 5 years, with the first campaign launched in 2018 to support the Down Syndrome Capacities Building Program. Since then, numerous workshops have been held in cities throughout the kingdom's central, eastern, and northern regions, all overseen by DSCA Association specialists.
