McDonald's strategy continues successfully to employ people with Down syndrome, which it started 16 years ago and has so far managed to employ 46 of these champions who work in its restaurants located in the central, eastern and northern regions of the Kingdom.
The story began with the employment of two of this group dear to our hearts 16 years ago, and efforts intensified until McDonald's was able to employ them in all the central, eastern and northern regions of the Kingdom, as there are 26 employees of them in the central region, 14 in the eastern region, and 6 others in the Qassim and Majmaah regions.
It is worth noting that the employment of people with Down syndrome in McDonald's restaurants in the Riyadh and Qassim region comes as a result of the success of the agreement signed by McDonald's with the Ministry of Education, the Department of Special Education to employ people with Down syndrome in its restaurants, in addition to cooperation with charities that deal with people with Down syndrome, which contributed to the employment of people with Down syndrome in its restaurants.
