Continuing its constant and ever-present support for people with Down Syndrome, McDonald's in the Central, Eastern and Northern regions of KSA launched a new campaign with the slogan "Your Support Matters", in which they urge their customers to visit their branches and order a McRoyale on Dec 8th, 2020, promising that all McRoyale profits they get on that day will be donated to support DSCA’s Capacity Building Program.
This program targets different cities in the Kingdom, and it provides different techniques and multiple training workshops, prepared by Down Syndrome specialists at DSCA, for parents and anyone who has someone with Down Syndrome in their life, so they can be aware on how to deal with them and understand them the right way. The workshops include developing language skills, communication skills, math skills, and many other skills and abilities, given that the ultimate goal of the program is to teach people with Down syndrome how to become active, independent, and productive members of their society.

The first Capacity Building Program workshop was launched in the city of Hafar Al Batin back in 2018, and later in 2019 it was held in Al Majma'ah, Az Zulfi, and Al-Kharj, and the workshops will continue to be held in other regions and cities in the Kingdom.
This is a part of McDonald's KSA initiative to support the Down Syndrome segment as one of the pillars of its social responsibility umbrella named "Our Generations are Our Responsibility".
