As part of our social responsibility, McDonald's in the Central, Eastern, and Northern regions of the Kingdom celebrated with children with Down Syndrome in different cities on the occasion of World Down Syndrome Day, where we distributed children's meals and gifts to more than 1,500 children with Down Syndrome. The children and their families expressed their happiness with what McDonald's provided on this occasion, which McDonald's seeks to celebrate with children with Down Syndrome in all regions of the Central, Eastern, and Northern regions of the Kingdom.

The celebration took place in Riyadh and Al-Kharj regions, with more than 1,000 children with Down Syndrome representing more than 17 charitable centers and associations, in addition to the celebration with more than 500 children in the rest of the Eastern and Northern regions of the Kingdom and with more than 7 charitable centers and associations.

McDonald's Saudi Arabia is a national company with an active role in serving the Saudi community, as evidenced by the launch of the "Ajyalona" community service platform more than 10 years ago, which focuses on supporting the Down Syndrome community, through supporting various entertainment events and activities held for them throughout the year. In addition to the initiative to employ youth with Down Syndrome, where we currently have more than 130 employees with Down Syndrome.
